By shopping on our website, you accept and consent to these terms of use and any conditions, policies and notices contained or referenced herein (including, but not limited to, our privacy policy) (collectively, the “terms of use”), and you agree to comply with all laws and regulations applicable to our website. In these terms of use, the words “you” and “your” refer to each customer or website visitor and “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Inner Marvel LLC, Inner Marvel Soaps and Candles LLC, and/or innermarvel.com and innermarvelsoapsandcandles.com.

 Please note that it is your responsibility to review these terms of use. We reserve the right, at any time, to modify, alter, or update these terms of use, and your continued use of this website following such change(s) shall imply your consent to be bound by the modified, altered or updated terms of use. If at any time you find these terms of use unacceptable or if you do not agree with these terms of use, please do not use our website.

 SHIPPING & HANDLING: We pass on all commercial shipping rates. We are a small business; we cannot provide Amazon-style shipping prices and time frames.  We do our best to figure shipping costs appropriately. We will refund excess shipping charges at our discretion. We appreciate your understanding. If you live within three hours of Montgomery County in Ohio, I will gladly meet you in a public area to deliver your products. Please choose LOCAL at checkout and you will not be charged shipping. Our shipping costs are determined by weight of the order.  Any items that can fit into a flat rate shipping box will be shipped using a flat rate box. There are times packages can go missing due to theft or other means out of our control once the package has left our facility. 

MULTIPLE ORDERS: We do combine multiple orders. Please leave us a note that you have multiple orders pending so we know to combine them and ship accordingly.  If a refund is applicable we will refund the difference to the card that was used to make the purchase.  If an order has left our facility before you have notified us of multiple orders, the orders will ship separately.

BE AWARE OF YOUR LOCATION: Please understand that we are a small hobby business and cannot be responsible for packages that are shown delivered but go missing. Production at our level is very costly and the time and effort we put into the business is also very valuable. If the tracking shows your package was delivered and you claim you did not receive your package, we cannot file a claim with the USPS. We will not be able to refund or replace your purchase. If you have any concerns whatsoever, please contact me and we will require a signature upon delivery of your order. This will require an additional payment of you. 

Absolutely NO RETURNS. Absolutely NO REFUNDS.  Purchaser assumes all responsibility once product has been shipped.  We choose not to resell products once it is out of our supervision.

Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been shipped. We reserve the right to cancel any order that has been returned due to being undeliverable.

FPO/APO: We are happy to ship packages to our service members and their families overseas.

 LUXURY SOAPS:

We use high quality organic oils and butters in our soap recipes. If organic is not available we make sure the oils and/or butters are not genetically modified (non-gmo).  Please read all the ingredients listed in the soaps prior to ordering.  All soaps contain food grade sodium hydroxide (lye) and/or potassium hydroxide. Sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide are neutralized in the saponification process. Soap cannot be made without sodium hydroxide. Liquid soaps cannot be made without potassium hydroxide.  Sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide are NOT in the final product.

We scent our soaps with essential oils and fragrances that are DEP and phthalate free unless otherwise noted in the soap’s description.  Please use caution whenever using a body product containing essential oils. Be informed and know what essential oils may affect your body and medical issues. We follow the manufacturer’s usage label for the safe usage of fragrance and essential oils in our recipes.

Unscented soap will have a slight scent due to ingredients used. No added fragrance or essential oils are added to the unscented soaps. Occasionally, an unscented soap bar may absorb a scent based on the soap surrounding it on the curing rack.  Information concerning phthalate products may change over time without notification. Suppliers often change this information on their site without notification to us. 

Strength of scent after cure will vary. We color our soaps with sustainable natural clays, food grade micas and natural herbal colorants. Some colorants will ‘bleed’ some of their color onto wash cloths. This is normal.  We use various non-dairy liquids and creams in our soaps. There are no animal fats used in our products nor do we test our products on animals.

We occasionally use coffee, teas, herbs, spices, pumpkin, and more to make specialty soaps. 

Our soap recipes were developed for what works with our sensitive skin issues and many of our friends. I test a bar from every batch of soap to make sure it is non-iratating for me. Next, the soap is tested on family and friends because we all have varying sensitivities, water sources etc.

Our soaps are handcrafted and hand cut.  The beauty of handcrafted products is its variance in each bar.  The weight will vary as the water continues to evaporate out of each bar of soap. Other weight determining factors are butters, oils and natural colorants used. Prior to wrapping and labeling our soaps, they range between 4.25 ounces – 4.75 ounces. Handcrafted soap will continue to evaporate water and will continually lose weight. This makes for a finer, longer lasting bar of soap.

SCRUBS AND SOAKS: We use a variety of salts, organic sugars and milks, sodium bicarbonate, essential oils and fragrances and a cosmetic base in our scrubs and bath soaks. We scent our scrubs/soaks with essential oils and fragrances that are DEP and phthalate free.  Please use caution whenever using a body product containing essential oils. Be informed and know what essential oils may affect your body and medical issues. We follow the manufacturer’s usage label for the safe usage of fragrance and essential oils in our recipes. We color our scrubs/soaks with sustainable natural clays, food grade micas and natural herbal colorants. Some colorants will ‘bleed’ some of their color. Do not use salt scrubs on your face. Do not use salt or sugar scrubs on sensitive areas.

ALLERGY WARNING: We use a variety of ingredients in our products. At some point, one ingredient may have been in contact with another ingredient. This would be similar to a warning that says, "This product has been processed in a facility that also processes ______". Please contact us if you have more questions.

GENERAL PRODUCT WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS: It is the responsibility of the consumer of the product to use the products properly. The consumer should always be aware of personal allergies and irritations. Spot test all skin products prior to full use. If any products cause irritation, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician.  Consumer assumes all risks and responsibilities.

CANDLES AND DIFFUSERS: Supervise candles when in use and keep out of reach of children and animal.  Candles should only be burned on a stable, heat resistant surface.  Candles should not be placed in a drafty area or an area where things can catch fire.  Remember to trim wicks 3/16” before lighting every time.  Keep wax pool free from debris.  Do not burn more that four hours.  Stop burning when a ¼” of unmelted wax remains. We use soy wax with a small amount of food grade paraffin.

Diffusers should be kept out of the reach of children and animals.  Do not ingest.  Do not place where bottles can be knocked over.  If spilled, liquid may damage wood and porous surfaces. The more reeds you use the stronger the fragrance. When the fragrance becomes faint, flip the reeds and continue to enjoy your fragrance. Avoid over saturating the cork lid of the mini diffusers.

We do our best to describe the scents using pictures and the information given from the manufacturers description. We strictly adhere to the proper usage rates set by the International Fragrance Association. 

Our candles and reed diffusers are tested for fragrance throw in varying size rooms. Some fragrances are stronger than other and no matter how much fragrance oil you can legally put in the soy wax or blend with the diffuser base.

DO NOT DISCARD DIFFUSER LIQUID DOWN THE DRAIN. Place is in a container with a secure lid and put it in the trash. Keep the beautiful diffuser bottle and use as a lovely decorative piece. Clean it and add your own essential oils and reeds.

Please recycle your empty diffuser bottles and candle jars. Clean them and give them a new purpose!
